Key Responsibilities
Examine damaged vehicle and efficiently plan repair process
Communicate with others on vehicle repair status
Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind
Make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time
Remove upholstery, accessories, and equipment to gain access to vehicle
Participate in all required safety meetings
File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using tools
Direct the work of an apprentice as needed
Required Qualifications
Ability to use frame machine
Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
Ability to supervise repair personnel
Must be able to pass thorough background check
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in body repair
I-CAR welding certified
