Job Description
Join SummitStone Health Partners as a Behavioral Health Therapist, where you will engage in providing crucial support for individuals in behavioral health crises. You'll facilitate group therapy and coordinate care to ensure the best outcomes for clients while working within a dedicated team focused on mental health and substance use treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitation of a Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program
Direct client care including care coordination, behavioral health screenings, assessments, individual and group therapy
Serve as a clinical resource for staff and case managers
Collaborate with staff to develop and evaluate clinical services
Perform behavioral health screenings and assessments
Provide crisis intervention, assessment, and de-escalation
Maintain clinical documentation and superior customer service
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field from an accredited College or University
Registered with DORA as a Candidate working towards licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
At least one year of experience in the behavioral health field
Experience with mild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders
Facilitation of an SUD IOP level of care
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to facilitate a Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program
Substance Use Disorder Licensure (CAS or LAC)
Bilingual/bi-cultural
