As the Director and Assistant Treasurer, you'll play a vital role in managing CenterPoint's financial operations, ensuring compliance, and leading a team. Your expertise will help shape the company's financial strategies, support risk management, and foster key banking relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Treasurer in managing financial activities
Oversee daily cash flows and forecasting
Manage banking and credit rating agency relationships
Ensure compliance with financing agreements and regulations
Evaluate financial risks related to treasury operations
Lead and mentor team members
Assist in the preparation of BOD materials
Develop and implement strategic plans
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration
Seven (7) years relevant technical experience
Experience leading a team
Preferred Qualifications
CTP, CFA, or CPA
M.B.A. or Masters of Accounting
Exposure to utilities
Understanding of equity and fixed income capital markets
Experience in SEC disclosures
Experience in cash forecasts and analyses
Experience in building financial models
Experience managing bank and credit rating agency relationships
