RN - Pediatrics CVICU
Job Details:
• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients with varying health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Must have level 1 experience in a CVICU • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients • Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments • Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures • Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products • Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge procedures • Make appropriate referrals for patient care needs • Delegate tasks to support staff • One year of nursing experience required • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred • Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required • Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required • PALS (American Heart Association) required • Strong verbal and written communication skills needed • Computer skills requiredFacility:
