Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Pay: $2325/week
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized critical care for patients with neurological conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, and post-neurosurgical cases. The Neuro ICU RN will deliver advanced patient monitoring, administer complex therapies, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient recovery. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in critical care, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients.
Monitor vital signs, neurological status, ventilator settings, and intracranial pressure.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced interventions as ordered.
Collaborate with physicians, neurosurgeons, and the critical care team to develop treatment plans.
Educate and support patients’ families throughout the care process.
Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in medical records.
Adhere to ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of practice
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
COVID vaccine, recent TB test
Minimum 1–2 years of ICU or Neuro ICU nursing experience
