Job Description
Join US Foods as a Fleet Mechanic where you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel equipment, ensuring top-notch maintenance. This is a great opportunity for skilled mechanics looking to make an impact in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, and complete repairs on diesel equipment
Perform preventative maintenance
Document all repair orders and parts accountability
Handle road service calls
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Keep track of assigned repairs
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class-A CDL license DOT certified preferred
7 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or 5 years with Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency
Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Computer and software experience
Ability to manage multiple functions in a fast-paced environment
