Job Description
Join Interstate Waste Services as a Class B Roll Off Garbage Truck Driver in Sloatsburg, NY. Enjoy a competitive hourly wage of $25 and a comprehensive benefits package, while driving in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate front, side, or rear-loading trucks
Transport waste or recyclable material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities
Lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds
Conduct pre and post inspections of the truck
Required Qualifications
21 years of age or older
Valid Class A or B CDL
Airbrake endorsement
1 year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years
Great safety record and clean MVR
Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA & applicable traffic regulations
Ability to speak and read English
Read and understand a map
Meet physical & safety requirements of the position
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a driver or helper for a refuse company
Roll-off experience
