Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and improvement of manufacturing processes. Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to develop solutions that enhance production efficiency and quality, while making a meaningful impact on national security.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Support manufacturing with process troubleshooting
Lead non-conforming material analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide technical support to manufacturers
Develop and implement manufacturing process control
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience leading teams/projects
Technical documentation interpretation
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Strong communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and machinery
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
