Concrete / Materials Testing Lead (Hiring ASAP)

Do you want help save lives? Save Lives and Improve Quality of Life!* Flexible Work Schedules!* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar plus:
* 2+ Years of Quality Assurance or Testing Technician experience* Familiarity with testing standards, test protocols, and concrete materials* Strong organizational and documentation skills
Serve as a Test Witness for QA activities at a world-class, sole-of-its-kind North American testing facility* Oversee and verify approval testing for nails and concrete components in accordance with defined standards* Ensure technicians are following correct test procedures for approximately 10 standard tests* Learn, understand, and reference specific testing standards applicable to materials and performance validation* Manage inventory and track incoming concrete slab shipments, including associated concrete cylinders* Occasionally core concrete slabs to extract testing samples when cylinders are not available* Handle 30 lb. concrete samples for sample testing and quality checks* Perform a variety of additional tasks in slower periods, from labeling samples to facility maintenance and organization* Autonomously operate with minimal supervision
