Job Description
Join Kaiser Permanente as a Radiologic Technologist, where you'll operate advanced radiology equipment to create critical images that support patient care. This role emphasizes patient-centered service and teamwork in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographic images
Instructs patients regarding imaging procedures
Performs radiographic procedures, reviews images for accuracy and quality
Assists with procedures and provides patient education
Utilizes Radiology Information System (RIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Maintains inventory of supplies and monitors equipment condition
Communicates effectively with patients and colleagues
Exercises clinical judgment within scope of practice
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of a 2 year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the American Medical Association
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Ability to operate Radiologic equipment and perform related technical procedures
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of six (6) months experience as a radiology technologist
