Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
Conduct routine preventative maintenance
Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems
Complete mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Act as a mentor for junior technicians
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic tools
Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Basic diagnostics and repairs on AC and electrical systems
Minimum 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification
Three or more years of relevant work experience
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
