Join DMC Harper University Hospital as a CT Technologist and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will perform CT exams, ensure patient safety, and contribute to process improvements while working in a renowned specialty referral hospital.
Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Verify patient identity and review medical records for appropriateness of exams Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images and document exceptions from established protocols Communicate data to radiologists and respond to medical emergencies Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions Participate in process improvement activities within radiology Provide imaging education to residents and new employees May perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist as needed Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
