As a Recovery Specialist at EOSIS, you will provide crucial support to individuals during their recovery journey. You will guide clients, ensuring they understand their responsibilities while offering encouragement and structure. This role is vital in helping clients build healthy routines and find their path to lasting recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Transport clients for admission, discharge, medical appointments
Provide orientation to new clients, check in personal property and perform luggage searches
Ensure client safety by making rounds and performing overnight bed checks
Interact with clients whenever possible
Assist with the admissions and discharge process
Chart interactions and observations in client records
Attend shift change reports and department meetings
Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to work independently
Possess a valid driver's license
The ability to drive a vehicle continuously for up to three hours
The ability to lift and move objects weighing a minimum of 25 pounds
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior work experience in a residential treatment center environment
CPR and first aid certified
