Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry provides specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a hospital setting. The RN Tele monitors patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responds promptly to any changes, and collaborates closely with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver safe, high-quality care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to any abnormalities.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain patient safety and follow all infection control and hospital policies.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical skills to respond effectively to emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

• RN license in hand
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIHSS (Preferred)
• 2 year experience
