Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist Level 1, where you'll make a meaningful impact by designing and monitoring Behavior Management Programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team and receive comprehensive benefits while supporting diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Management Programs
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Develop Individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations
Participate in Life Plan and Individual Program Plan meetings
Provide crisis intervention and training
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in clinical or treatment field (psychology, social work, etc.)
Documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development
Three years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
NYS license as a Behavior Analyst or equivalent certification
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with NYS OPWDD policies and HCBS Waiver services
Knowledge of ABA, PBS, and trauma-informed care
Ability to train and mentor staff
