Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic services as defined by Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network
Provide speech and language therapy services based on developmental age/needs
Lead and consult with Center for Autism staff for skill development
Assess and coordinate augmentative/assistive communication technology
Maintain clinical and billing records
Participate in quality assurance and program evaluation activities
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or equivalent, or CFY candidate
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
Knowledge of common child/adolescent language and communication disorders
Knowledge of oral motor/feeding disorders
Two to five years’ experience with emphasis on children and adolescents
Prior clinical experience with individuals with developmental disability or diagnosis of Autism Disorder
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
