Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic services as defined by Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network
  • Provide speech and language therapy services based on developmental age/needs
  • Lead and consult with Center for Autism staff for skill development
  • Assess and coordinate augmentative/assistive communication technology
  • Maintain clinical and billing records
  • Participate in quality assurance and program evaluation activities

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or equivalent, or CFY candidate
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Knowledge of common child/adolescent language and communication disorders
  • Knowledge of oral motor/feeding disorders
  • Two to five years’ experience with emphasis on children and adolescents
  • Prior clinical experience with individuals with developmental disability or diagnosis of Autism Disorder

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
