Key Responsibilities
Support the definition of requirements for propulsion systems
Define functional and physical interfaces between propulsion systems and vehicles
Configure or design propulsion sub-systems and components
Conduct testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation activities
Verify tests for propulsion sub-systems and components
Review and process engine qualification documentation
Assist with propulsion ground and flight test planning
Work under general supervision
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or work-related experience with a Master's degree
Understanding of interactions between propulsion, aerodynamics, and flight controls
Knowledge of flow characteristics related to inlets, nozzles, and engine operation
Preferred Qualifications
ABET accreditation in engineering
Experience in model-based engineering environments
