Job Description
Join Good Samaritan as a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to residents in a supportive environment. Make a difference in the lives of seniors by assisting with daily living activities and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
Obtain and record vital signs
Provide psychosocial support and personal care
Assist with food preparation and dining
Document resident interactions and outcomes
Communicate resident's changing condition to the charge nurse
Provide housekeeping and laundry services
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Minimum age of 16
High school graduate or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
Maintains continuing education credits
