Job Description

Join Whole Foods Market as a Maintenance Team Leader to manage and supervise a dedicated maintenance team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the maintenance team and assign tasks
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement repair strategies
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment
  • Organize maintenance activities to minimize production downtime
  • Manage maintenance budgets and inventory of supplies
  • Communicate and maintain safety and security standards
  • Interview, select, train, and manage performance of Team Members

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment
  • 12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience in the food manufacturing industry
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical procedures
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as CMRP or CPMM
  • OSHA safety certification
  • Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance-related software
  • Basic understanding of ERP processes
