Job Description
Join Whole Foods Market as a Maintenance Team Leader to manage and supervise a dedicated maintenance team. Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team and assign tasks
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement repair strategies
Develop preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment
Organize maintenance activities to minimize production downtime
Manage maintenance budgets and inventory of supplies
Communicate and maintain safety and security standards
Interview, select, train, and manage performance of Team Members
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
2+ years of experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment
12+ months of maintenance supervisory experience in the food manufacturing industry
Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Strong ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical procedures
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CMRP or CPMM
OSHA safety certification
Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance-related software
Basic understanding of ERP processes
