Job Description
Join Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as a Senior Product Safety Engineer where you will ensure product safety compliance for innovative diagnostic tools. Collaborate with a dynamic team to advance healthcare by establishing safety standards and providing critical testing services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide testing and consulting services for global safety and laser product compliance.
Establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with international product safety standards.
Administer and maintain product compliance documentation.
Track, interpret, assess and integrate emerging compliance regulations.
Help prioritize workload and manage resources for product safety testing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science or related technical discipline and 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience.
Expertise with the EU’s Low Voltage and Machinery Directives including the EN61010-1 series of standards and the EN 60825-1 series of standards.
Strong capability in troubleshooting/critical thinking skills.
Experience with product compliance reviews of prototype products.
Willing to travel up to 10% (including international).
