Job Description
Join Raytheon's Flight Avionics Team as a Senior GPS Systems Engineer, where you'll leverage your GPS technology expertise to develop cutting-edge Guidance Electronics solutions. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create innovative missile products that enhance national security.
Key Responsibilities
Develop GPS electronics solutions for missile products
Perform analysis and modeling for GPS sub-assemblies
Collaborate with missile level system engineers
Document subsystem requirements and test plans
Interface with suppliers of navigation electronics components
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with electrical hardware development
Experience in developing RF electrical subsystems
Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with missile radar and RF seeker subsystems
Understanding of navigation subsystems/components
Recent technical experience with integrated Guidance Electronics systems
Knowledge of M-Code
Familiarity with Matlab scripting
Experience with hardware integration and testing
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Knowledge of DOD Hardware development process
