Job Description
As a Preventive Medicine Officer in the U.S. Army, you'll play a crucial role in preventing disease and injury among Soldiers and their families. You'll lead health protection efforts, direct public health initiatives, and provide training while enjoying numerous educational and career advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completed at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
Training program in preventive medicine
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty or permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
