Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing patient care to assigned patients under the delegation of a licensed practitioner
Perform all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role
Competently handle clinical needs and functions for assigned clinic/location
Follow established policies, procedures, and regulations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with clinical skills
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire
6 months of healthcare experience
6 months of medical assistant experience
