WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an RN – Labor & Delivery for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Neptune, NJ.

Job Function:

• Day Shift or Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7:30am - 7pm /7pm - 7:30am.

• Categorize patients into the appropriate level of classification.

• Apply external fetal monitors and interpret fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.

• Implement interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor.

• Administer medications following the “Five Rights” of safety, infection control guidelines, and provider orders.

• Screen patients for pain during the initial assessment and perform reassessments according to guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New Jersey.

• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty required.

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association required.

• Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
