As a Radiology Technologist I at Alameda Health System, you will perform various diagnostic imaging examinations under supervision, assist physicians, and maintain patient records. This entry-level position offers the opportunity for skill development and career advancement within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians in administering opaque media
Develop film using automatic processing and use PACS system
Maintain adequate records and assist in rooming patients
Perform diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties
Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross contamination
Produce radiographs and provide patient immobilization devices
Select and operate imaging equipment as directed
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
Preferred Qualifications
Mammography certification (if mammographic examinations are performed)
