Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and implementing education curriculum
Demonstrate techniques and best practices for trainees
Assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures for clinicians
Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Conduct initial assessments of patients and families
Perform thorough physical assessments and gather medical histories
Develop and revise individualized plans of care
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams
Address inquiries and concerns from patients and caregivers
Provide counseling and support to patients and caregivers
Supervise home health aides as required
Identify discharge planning needs
Required Qualifications
Nursing degree from an accredited institution
2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics
Excellent bedside manners
Exceptional communication skills
Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
Current BLS CPR certification
Valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle
