Job Description
As an EMS Clinical Coordinator at Global Medical Response, you will oversee the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program, ensuring compliance and coordinating student placements in clinical settings. You will play a crucial role in developing relationships with clinical sites, evaluating student performance, and enhancing educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates all aspects of the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program
Communicates with hospitals and EMS agencies to place students in rotations
Monitors compliance with student requirements
Manages the clinical contract process
Develops relationships with clinical site managers and staff
Schedules clinical rotations and provides student orientation
Evaluates student performance and provides coaching
Conducts performance reviews during field internships
Required Qualifications
Associate degree preferred
5 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse
Must complete an approved instructor course within one year of hire
Must obtain and maintain AHA ACLS, PALS, PEPP or EPC, PHTLS or ITLS Instructor certifications within one year of hire
Current certification/licensure in the Program state
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience
Experience in EMS education and learner-centered curriculum development
Documented teaching experience
Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse
NREMT preferred
