  • Description:
    RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

    Skills: Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety

    PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIH, Neuro exp preferred, Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred

    JOB DETAILS:
    Ratios: 1:6
    Shift: NIGHT 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours.
    13-26 weeks accepted
    RTO: 7 days MAX;
    Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first
    Weekend Requirement: every other weekend

    Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

    PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General medicine, focus on neuro

    UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

    SCHEDULING TYPE: Manager Schedules

    UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 Hours

    SCRUBS: Navy Blue
