Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Conduct FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles
Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections
Carry out maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability
Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs
Document all work performed on work orders
Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs
Conduct electrical meter testing
Complete electrical repairs and welding projects as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
2-3 years of hands-on experience or Medium/Heavy duty truck technical training
Current and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

CDL preferred
3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair of large trucks
Annual Inspector Certification
Brake Inspector Certification
ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks
609 HVAC Certification
