Job Description
Join Optum as a Practice Operations Coordinator in Fishkill, NY, where you will play a vital role in enhancing patient experiences and supporting a dynamic health care team. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service while working with advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service
Support front desk personnel and assist with scheduling
Manage office supply ordering and distribution
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Assist patients with registration and insurance verification
Collect co-payments and answer incoming calls
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or higher
1+ years of experience in a medical office position
1+ years of experience using electronic health record
Intermediate level of computer proficiency
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Ability to travel to multiple office locations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with EPIC
Knowledge of medical terms
Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
