Job Description

Join Drax as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment at a renewable energy facility. Your expertise will help ensure the safe and efficient operation of systems that contribute to a sustainable energy future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems
  • Perform routine maintenance of the facility’s electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures
  • Complete work order cycles and enter equipment history
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo and Frequency Drives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical degree
  • Ability to adapt to working within a team or lone working environment
  • Multi-craft skill set
