• Shift: 8 Hour Day Shifts (07:00 – 15:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,210 - $2,370

PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Hampshire or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or post-anesthesia nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical and clinical environment

PACU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards
