Job Description

Join SimVentions as a Director of Operations and play a pivotal role in enhancing daily operations and driving strategic initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support strategic operational initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, security, and compliance across the company
  • Collaborate with the strategic leadership team on risk management, resource planning, and contract support strategies
  • Participate in all Councils to understand each and provide support to Council leads as needed
  • Assist with definition, implementation, and monitoring of policies/processes (EPG)
  • Assist with implementation of process improvements
  • Work with Business Development and Operations Groups to identify and support capture of new business
  • Identify, plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for tracking performance
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supporting operations-related areas
  • Ten or more years in a senior leadership role in a field related to the industry
  • Five or more years of program management experience in leading large programs or contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced level competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented culture
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate, self-start, think ahead, problem-solve, and engage proactively
  • Ability to excel under pressure and handle last-minute details and changes
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance and customer service
  • Ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
  • Experience in developing and maintaining budgets and business plans
  • Experience writing proposals and white papers

  • Lean/Six Sigma Black/Green belt
