Job Description
Join Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you'll provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages. Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to diagnose, treat, and educate patients in a dynamic urgent care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers
Perform medical assessments, treatments, management, and follow-up of clinic patients
Perform medical procedures including laceration repairs and injections
Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients
Oversee and support on-site laboratory, x-rays, and collections
Participate in policy development affecting medical practice and patient satisfaction
Provide guidance to other medical staff to ensure quality services
Required Qualifications
State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
Certification as an APRN or Physician Assistant through the AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of related experience as a Provider
