Join Kaiser as a Psychologist on the Child Team, where you'll provide essential mental health services to children and their families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment programs, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for your patients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate clinical treatment programs for members with mental illness
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Conduct psychological assessments and prepare treatment plans and case summaries
Collaborate with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications
Supervise psychology doctoral interns and other mental health trainees
Utilize community resources to meet members' treatment needs
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions
Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical responsibility in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
Demonstrated experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
