ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Must have 2 full years of nursing experience to be considered
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer through UNA (maximum 2 attempts)
• Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation with emphasis on sterile field techniques
• Must be able to interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry system
• 2-day floor-specific orientation required
• Navy scrubs required
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• First to float policy applies, may float to sister facility
• Care for patients including post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, and general telemetry
• Administer medications including Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine to titrate down only
• No pediatric patients - 15 years and older only
• Work on CV Tele units D2 & C4 with 32 total beds
• Support from PCTs (1 per every 16 patients), charge nurse with no patient assignment, and clinical supervisor
• Use Cerner charting system
• BSN not required but nursing license verification required

The facility features centralized telemetry monitoring, 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, and maintains hospitalist coverage with day rounds and on-call availability at night. The organization supports nursing staff with clinical supervisors and charge nurses while maintaining high standards for patient care through rigorous competency testing and orientation programs.
