Job Description

Join Boeing's Phantom Works team as a Low Observable Design & Integration Engineer and work on cutting-edge stealth technologies. This role involves hands-on and deskwork as part of an integrated product team, offering the chance to develop innovative systems for next-gen platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the LO Design and Integration team
  • Work within an Integrated Product Team
  • Develop and integrate low observable technologies
  • Participate in weekly configuration development activities
  • Direct design trades
  • Perform design optimization through electromagnetic modeling and simulation
  • Analyze signature data (RF or IR)
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements through collaboration with suppliers and customers
  • Direct testing of LO components

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years with a Master's or 4+ years with a PhD (Level 4)
  • 14+ years of experience with a Bachelor's or 12+ years with a Master's or 9+ years with a PhD (Level 5)
  • 4+ years’ experience in LO Engineering Processes, Aircraft Design, Electromagnetic Propagation, Supportable Low Observables
  • Positive attitude towards learning and teamwork
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RF and/or IR test equipment, test procedures, and data processing
