Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection
Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician
Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families
Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patients
Educate patients on surgical procedures
Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan
Required Qualifications
BLS certification
ACLS certification
2 years of recent acute care experience
