Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and direct major cancer research projects
Review and analyze research data and revise techniques as necessary
Compile, write, and submit project results
Assist trainees in preparation of research papers and reports
Design and develop research equipment
Supervise training of laboratory personnel
Confer with groups regarding research progress
Supervise a large team performing technical work
Apply for research grants from funding agencies
Perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications
Ph.D., MD, or MD/PhD or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to lead independent research projects
Experience in mentoring and training
Project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Translational cancer research experience
Strong background in Lung Cancer, GI Cancer, or Breast Cancer
Expertise in kinase signaling and drug resistance
Proficiency in molecular techniques including bioimaging and flow cytometry
Experience with animal models
