As Vice President, Domain Architect within Fidelity Institutional’s Capital Markets & Investment Products Technology (CMIPT) organization, you will define and support the architectural strategy for some of the most complex and high-impact areas of the business. You’ll design scalable, secure, and forward-looking technology solutions that align with long-term goals, spanning business applications, cloud infrastructure, and emerging AI capabilities to drive innovation and growth.
Fidelity Institutional delivers investment, trading, and technology solutions to institutional clients, including registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, and institutional investors. Our offerings include proprietary investment products—such as alternative investments and active ETFs—distributed through platforms like FundsNetwork and Wealth Advisor Solutions. We also provide institutional-grade equity and fixed income trading platforms, prime brokerage, and securities lending services, all supported by robust data and analytics.
In this role, you’ll bring deep technical and business domain expertise, translating strategy into actionable IT capabilities. You’ll lead architectural governance, promote enterprise standards, and assess emerging technologies to shape future-ready solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across teams are essential, as is a pragmatic approach to balancing innovation with execution.
While not required, experience in specialized financial domains can enhance your impact. Backgrounds in prime brokerage, securities lending, fixed income trading, or alternative investment distribution offer valuable insights into designing agile, data-driven, and compliant systems. However, a commitment to continuous learning is equally valued.
Your success will be defined by your ability to lead with clarity, foster cross-functional alignment, and deliver practical, scalable solutions. As a visible leader and advocate for architectural excellence, you’ll help elevate solution architecture practices within CMIPT and across Fidelity.

Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
