Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you will provide vital treatments to patients, enhancing their speech and language functions through personalized care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status
Treats patients using appropriate therapeutic techniques
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines
Supervises affiliated students
Participates in continuing education and departmental in-services
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Current Connecticut license or eligibility for licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association or eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
Valid drivers' license for occasional travel between business sites
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs
