Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Moab, Utah.
Anticipated schedule: Full time (40 hours per week) Monday–Friday, 08:00-17:00
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice
standards.
• Triage incoming patient phone calls, assess patient needs, and provide appropriate advice or direction.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs. This includes assessing patient’s
condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, performing
screenings, and administering vaccinations and medications.
• Assists healthcare providers with procedures and examinations.
• Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
• Participates in developing and maintaining established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety;
environmental and infection prevention programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• One year of nursing experience
• Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently.
• Able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 20 lbs. with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred (Family Practice, Surgical Center, GYN etc)
