Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• Current BLS certification
• Proficient in 3-D and digital mammography exams
• Strong knowledge of mammographic imaging techniques and procedures
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images for breast cancer screening and early detection
• Experience with Hologic 3D equipment and outpatient procedures
• Understanding of universal precautions, core measures, and radiation safety practices
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome
• Valid Pennsylvania state license or certification required at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• PA Fingerprints required prior to start

Radiology Job Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including advanced 3D mammograms
• Operate Hologic 3D imaging equipment and maintain high standards of patient care
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during all procedures
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records using EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary radiology and healthcare team
• Follow universal precautions and radiation safety protocols
• Support early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women
