Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with 3D models, drafts, and facility layouts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and modify electronic files using document management systems
Assist in developing and maintaining templates and schematics
Maintain CAD procedures and standards
Support fabrication through the creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft applications
Highly motivated to learn 3D CAD drafting and detail print making
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Capable of performing equipment measurements on the production floor
Problem-solving mindset with innovative solutions
