Job Description
Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist where you will provide essential treatments to patients, collaborate with healthcare teams, and enhance patient communication abilities. This role includes evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and educating families, making a significant impact on patient recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and conduct assessments based on established standards.
Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
Administer appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities.
Educate patients and families on exercises and functional activities.
Document patient progress according to insurance guidelines.
Supervise affiliated students and participate in educational programs.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
Eligible or has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Valid driver's license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
