Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – Outpatient & Hospitalist | Northern Arizona

Location: Winslow, Arizona
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: Starting at $250,000 + bonus potential

A well-established, mission-driven Critical Access Hospital in Northern Arizona is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join its collaborative care team. Key Responsibilities

  • Outpatient & Urgent Care: Provide comprehensive care for acute and chronic conditions through scheduled appointments and walk-in services.

  • Hospitalist Duties: Manage weekday inpatient rounding and admissions in partnership with the ER team.

  • Integrated Care: Collaborate seamlessly with clinic, emergency, and inpatient teams to ensure continuity of care.

  • Leadership Development: Opportunity to advance into a Chief of Staff role with influence over clinical strategy and operations.

  • Call Schedule: Night and weekend coverage with enhanced pay.

Qualifications

Required:

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine (or Internal Medicine)

  • Active or eligible for an Arizona Medical License (unrestricted)

  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience

Preferred:

  • Experience in rural or Critical Access Hospital settings

  • Proficient in managing both acute and chronic care

  • Skilled in urgent care and developing a primary care panel

  • Interest or experience in clinical leadership or administration

  • Comfort working across outpatient, inpatient, and ER departments
