Minimum Qualifications (Level III):1+ years of experience/Complex and Routine Hospital Locations/ Consistently supports a 24-hour opportunitylocation.
Education:High-School Diploma or GED arerequired. You may be asked toprovideproof of education.
Licensure:None.
Certifications:American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Experience:
- Optional Surgical or Endoscopy tech education and/or experience.
- The Endoscopy Technologist IIIis able tosuccessfully and independentlyparticipatein complexacuitycases, perform high level disinfection dutiesANDis required to support a 24-hour facility. Can act as primary preceptor for other Endo Techs. May not be an expert in every procedure.May have leadership and Supply responsibilities.
- Completes all competencies in previous levels in addition to: Endoscopy Tech Advanced Technology Competency.
