Job Description
Join MLK Community Healthcare as a Certified Nurse Midwife and contribute to improving community health through compassionate care. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive women's health services, including pregnancy and childbirth care, while enjoying a supportive work environment with excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Provide primary women’s health care focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
Perform comprehensive history and physical exams
Manage patient care and assess risk status
Provide inpatient care and manage minor complications
Participate in a continuous collaborative peer review process
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in related field
Current licensure in California (RN and CNM)
Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM)
Current furnishing number and DEA license
Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school/university of nurse-midwifery
Three (3) years’ experience preferred
Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation
Certification in Limited OB ultrasound
