Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and assists with registration
  • Schedules appointments for patients
  • Collects copays and obtains referrals
  • Answers phone calls and directs them appropriately
  • Enters and scans patient information into Epic
  • Verifies insurance eligibility
  • Coordinates follow-up care and schedules referrals

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in medical front office position
  • Experience with electronic health record (EPIC)
  • Knowledge of medical terms
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
  • Bi-Lingual English and Arabic or Mandarin / Cantonese
