Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Greets patients and assists with registration
Schedules appointments for patients
Collects copays and obtains referrals
Answers phone calls and directs them appropriately
Enters and scans patient information into Epic
Verifies insurance eligibility
Coordinates follow-up care and schedules referrals
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in medical front office position
Experience with electronic health record (EPIC)
Knowledge of medical terms
Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
Bi-Lingual English and Arabic or Mandarin / Cantonese
