Job Title: Pediatric Hospitalist
Join a dynamic Pediatric Hospital Medicine service in a community hospital setting located in Pocatello, Idaho. The facility features a 205-bed capacity, providing a range of pediatric services including a 2-bed Pediatric ICU and a 16-bed Level III Neonatal ICU. With a collaborative team atmosphere and opportunities for faculty appointments with Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, this is an excellent place to advance your career.
Job Responsibilities:
Caring for medical patients in the Pediatric Unit.
Consulting pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical units.
Working on a 7 on 7 off schedule.
Providing consultation for patients in the emergency department.
Rounding in the hospital with on-call responsibilities from home.
Developing a sedation program as part of the service.
Collaborating with a sister program located 30 minutes away for consultation and support.
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Idaho medical license or IMLC compact-eligible (or willing to obtain).
DEA certification (to be obtained prior to start).
CSR/CDS certification (to be obtained prior to start).
License and Certification Requirements:
Board Certified in Pediatrics REQUIRED
Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine REQUIRED
Must obtain Idaho license or be IMLC compact-eligible REQUIRED
DEA certification must be acquired before starting REQUIRED
